ASK monitored the Kurdistan National Assembly, its performance and the election promises that the candidates gave within the 2005 elections. Within 12 months, ASK issued 5 statements every 2 months since December 2006 on the parliament’s performance, and the collected information was the result of volunteers periodically visiting parliamentary committees and parliament sessions. Furthermore, from May to September 2007, seminars were held twice per month facilitating KNA`s committees to present their activities to the public. Multiple reports were published detailing the findings of ASK's monitoring.
