TO ASK'S
HEALTH PROGRAM
The Health program was developed to provide elementary students (mainly ages 6 to 12 years old) with various medical services. These services include but are not limited to:
1. Health Education: ASK organized its first Health Education Workshop in the Culture Club of the University of Sulaymania in February 12, 1999. Physicians and health/nutrition experts from the University and UNICEF participated in the Workshop.
2. Medical
Services: Medical Services was a program designed to provide school
children ages from 6 to 12 years old with dental and optical treatments. These
services were divided to two regions: 
2-1 Dental and Optical Services in the
City of Sulaymania
2-2 Optical Service in Rural cities (Sharbashair,
Halabja, Shorish, Smood)
